Cysteine derivatives
Cysteine derivative is sulfur - containing amino acid belonging to aliphatic. Cysteine derivative is colorless crystal, soluble in water, ethanol and ammonia, and in aqueous solution is neutral. Cysteine derivative can be synthesized in vivo; two molecules of cysteine can be converted into cystine in neutral or slightly alkaline solution. Cystine is the composition of glutathione; the residue of the sulfhydryl of Cystine is an essential gene for certain enzymes, in the liver can generate taurine. Cysteine derivative is used as adjuvant therapy for hepatitis and antidote in clinic.
