Amine is the compound containing amino . Amino-NH2 is the group formed by ammonia in the removal of one hydrogen atom . If an amine such as RNH2, R2NH , is removed one hydrogen atom ,then a group (RNH-, R2N-) is formed which is called an amino.. For example, methylamino (CH3NH-), diethylamino [(C2H5) N-], phenylamino (C6H5NH -) are basic and polar groups. Inorganic compounds are amides. The organic compounds include amine , amino acids , amides and the like.
Imino is a divalent group formed by ammonia molecule falling of two hydrogen atoms . Imide , secondary amine and imidodicarbonic diamide and the like contain this group.
