Flucarbazone sodium Usage And Synthesis
DescriptionFlucarbazone sodium is a sulfonylurea herbicide, a patented herbicide produced by Alista Biochemicals North America Co., Ltd., and its trade name is also called "Biaohu". Its active ingredients can be absorbed by the roots, stems and leaves of weeds, and exert herbicidal activity by inhibiting the activity of acetolactate synthase in weeds and destroying the normal physiological and biochemical metabolism of weeds.
EffectsFluoxuron-methyl is a selective herbicide that can effectively control most types of grass weeds and some types of broadleaf weeds such as wheat field brome, wild oat, ryegrass, bluegrass, etc. The drug can be absorbed by the roots, stems and leaves of weeds, and exerts herbicidal activity by inhibiting the activity of acetolactate synthase in weeds and destroying the normal physiological and biochemical metabolism of weeds. The drug can be quickly metabolized in wheat and has high safety to wheat. The best spraying effect is before winter, and the control effect of spring spraying is not as good as before winter.
ToxicityFluoxasulfuron is a low-toxicity pesticide, and its acute oral, dermal, and inhalation toxicity LD50/LC50 in rats is greater than 5000, and it has no teratogenicity, carcinogenicity, or mutagenicity. Low toxicity to a variety of non-target organisms such as birds, fish, large fleas, algae, bees, etc.
UsesHerbicide.
UsesFlucarbazone-sodium is a herbicide.
DefinitionChEBI: Flucarbazone-sodium is an organic sodium salt resulting from the formal reaction of the sulfonamide amino group of flucarbazone with 1 mol eq. of sodium hydride. An acetolactate synthase inhibitor, it is used as a herbicide to control grass weeds in cereal crops. Not approved for use within the European Union. It has a role as an EC 2.2.1.6 (acetolactate synthase) inhibitor, a herbicide and an agrochemical. It contains a flucarbazone(1-).
HazardModerately toxic.
