DescriptionIt is usually used as the intermediate or raw material in organic synthesis and pharmaceutical industry. Specifically, this chemical can act as the intermediate in the synthesis of 5-amino-azaoxindole derivatives.1 Moreover, this substance may be involved in the preparation of pharmaceutically active compounds that can be used in the treatment of proliferative disorders, as well as other diseases or conditions in which aurora kinase and/or FLT3 activity is implicated.2 In addition, this chemical has been demonstrated to function as the intermediate in the synthesis of 1-deaza-6-methylthiopurine ribonucleoside, which is proved to exhibit cytotoxicty.3 Besides, 2-amino-4-chloro-3-nitropyridine can be utilized to fabricate central nervous system (CNS) active compounds.4
