Uses | Potassium trimethylsilanolate can be used as a reagent in the:
- Hydrolysis of nitriles to primary amides.
- Conversion of esters to carboxylic acids, and dialkyl phosphonates to their monoalkyl phosphonates.
- Synthesis of E-alkenes, and nitrocefin.
