Metabolic pathwayWhen male rabbits are administered croconazole by intravenous injection, as many as 16 metabolites are excreted in the urine and 13 metabolites are identified. The biotransformation reaction of croconazole includes ring hydroxylation, O-dechlorobenzylation, and the loss of the imidazole ring.
