Description | Lumigen APS-5 is a proprietary acridan based chemiluminescent
substrate for ELISA detection of alkaline phosphatase (AP)
conjugated molecules. The unique acridan chemistry of Lumigen
APS-5 provides temperature insensitive light output and more
rapid peak intensity as compared to the dioxetane based AP
substrates, Lumi-Phos 530 and Lumi-Phos Plus. | Uses | Aps-5 is a chemiluminescent substrate based on 9, 10-dihydroacridine, which is mainly used for ELISA detection of compounds with alkaline phosphatase AP conjugation.The 9, 10-dihydroacridine structure in the aps-5 structure can continuously, stably and efficiently give off light under the action of AP, and aps-5 is very suitable for the determination of phosphatase activity solution and phosphatase-linked immunoassay. | Mechanism of action | Lumigen APS-5 utilizes a unique technology for the chemiluminescent
detection of alkaline phosphatase conjugates which combine excellent
sensitivity with ease of use. Reaction of the acridan substrate with an
AP label rapidly produces sustained high-intensity chemiluminescence.
Lumigen APS-5 is ideally suited for solution assays of phosphatase
