Uses2-Aminoacetamide is a derivative of the amino acid glycine . It has been shown to inhibit the conversion of proparathyroid hormone to parathyroid hormone. It can be useful in the identification of yeasts. It can also be useful in the synthesis of Oxiracetam , which is a derivative of Piracetam and a nootropic drug useful for improving cognition and memory impairments.
