- ortho-(diphenylphosphino)phenylphosphonous acid di[(1S,2S,3S,5R)-2,6,6-trimethyl-bicyclo[3.1.1]-hept-3-yl]ester, a phosphino-phosphonite ligand
- O,O′bis[(1S,2S,3S,5R)2,6,6-trimethylbicyclo[3.1.1]hept-3-yl] dithiophosphoric acid, a bioactive compound with antifungal effect
| General Description | (1S,2S,3S,5R)-(+)-Isopinocampheol is a chiral terpenol. | Purification Methods | Dissolve it in Et2O, dry over MgSO4, filter, evaporate, then recrystallise it from pet ether. Also recrystallise it from aqueous EtOH and distil it in a vacuum. [Kergomard & Geneix Bull Soc Chim Fr 394 1958, Zweifel & Brown J Am Chem Soc 86 393 1964.] The 3,4-dinitrobenzoyl derivative has m 100-101o, the phenylcarbamoyl derivative has m 137-138o and the acid -phthalate has m 125-126o.
