Features | Hot-start Taq polymerase;Modified using unique hot-start chemistry;Absolutely no activity at room temperature;Fast activation: takes less than 2 minutes of heating to activate;Very stable during storage. | Description | PowerPCR Hot Start Taq DNA Polymerase is a chemically-modified recombinant Taq Polymerase, in which the heat-labile blocking groups attached to its amino acid residues inactivates the enzyme at room temperature. The Enzyme is activated at 94-95°C. This feature avoids extension of non-specific primers, which significantly reduces non-specific products that would otherwise compete for reagent availability. The Hot Start Taq DNA Polymerase therefore improves yield of PCR products. Features The best specificity with minimal background Improved yield of tartget PCR product Has the 5′ to 3′ DNA polymerase activity and 5′ to 3′ exonuclease activity, without 3′-5′ exonuclease activity. The processing efficiency is 1 kb/30 sec; amplify DNA up to 6kb The PCR products have 3'-dA and can be cloned in TA vector. | Application | HotStart PCR and RT-PCR;Labeling of DNA with modified nucleotides;Manufacture of application mixes requiring stringent controls and validation |
