Purification MethodsReflux the amine with activated charcoal in CH2Cl2, followed by recrystallisation from Et2O/pet ether or pet ether [Koolar & Kochi J Org Chem 52 4545 1987]. Alternatively, recrystallise the diamine from hexane, *C6H6, pet ether or H2O (Na2SO4) and sublime it at 150o/15mm. [Beilstein 13 IV 72.]
