UsesBenzyl 3-Aminoazetidine-1-carboxylate is used as a reagent in the synthesis of pyridazine and pyridine derivatives as nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (NAMPT) inhibitors. Benzyl 3-Aminoazetidine-1-carboxylate is also used as the starting material in the synthesis of nitrogen-containing heterocycles as inhibitors of the hedgehog pathway.
