INDIUM(I) IODIDE Usage And Synthesis

Chemical Properties	reddish solid; -8 mesh with 99.999% purity; enthalpy of vaporization 90.8 kJ/mol [CRC10] [CER91]
Uses	Indium(I) iodide can be used to prepare indium cluster and chain compounds. It is also used as a reagent to propagate organic reactions viz. cyclization and cleavage of diselenide or disulfide. It plays an important role in preparing indium containing complexes.
