Store in a cool and dark place. 1,4-Bis(4-amino-2-trifluoromethylphenoxy)benzene is known to be incompatible with oxidizing agents and should not be stored or handled in their vicinity. | Uses | 4,4'-[1,4-PHENYLENEBIS(OXY)]BIS[3-(TRIFLUOROMETHYL]BENZENAMINE can be used as organic synthesis intermediates and pharmaceutical intermediates, mainly used in laboratory research and development and chemical production processes. | Synthesis | The mixture of 0.1 mol 1,4-bis(4-amino-2-trifluoromethyl)-benzene, 0.1 mol ODPA and 200 ml DMAc were added intoa three-necked flask. The mixture was stairred at room temperature for 4 hours and to this mixture was slowly added 30 ml Triethylamine and 80 ml Acetic anhydride. The mixture continued to stir for 30 min and then heated at 120 ?? for 8 hours. The mixture cooled and poured into 800 ml ethanol. Filtered and dried to obtain the final product. |
