Description | Sesamol is found in sesame seeds and sesame oil. It is a well-known antioxidant. It has antioxidant, chemoprevention, antimutagenic, and antihepatotoxic activities and can induce the apoptosis of cancer and cardiovascular cells. It can be used in the synthesis of paroxetine.
