UsesIn metallurgical separation of minerals.
UsesA specialty product for proteomics research. Used as a precursor for SnO2 through laser-assisted CVD with higher efficiency than other precursors such as dibutyl tin diacetate.
HazardIrritant to skin and eyes.
Safety ProfilePoison by intravenous route. Violent reaction with NO2Cl. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of Br-. See also BROMIDES and TIN COMPOUNDS.
