Chemical Properties | Black (or dark green) powder. The solubility in water (50°C) is 65g/L. The aqueous solution is dark blue-green, add 1mol/L sodium hydroxide solution to turn blue, then add hydrosulfite and warm it to become colorless, and add sodium perborate to still be colorless. | Uses | Reactive green 19 can be used for dyeing and printing of cotton fiber. | Synthesis | Reactive green 19 can be obtained by reacting H acid, p-nitroaniline o-sulfonic acid, cyanuric chloride and p-aminobenzenesulfonic acid as raw materials. |
